Persian Traditional Music, Tar
with apprentice Siamak Bozorgi

The goal of this apprenticeship is to work with Siamak Bozorgi on the Advanced Radif of Ali-Akbar Shahnazi in Segah mode, which  introduces a unique tuning, uses the entire upper and lower register of the Tar instrument, and requires complicated fingering and plucking. Azizi and Bozorgi will also compare the Advanced Radif of Ali-Akbar Shahnazi in Segah mode to the Radif of Mirza Abdullah, while practicing transposing techniques and developing an understanding of how such skills will improve their performances.
