Son del Sereno is a son jarocho collective using the cultural practice of fandango to build community. They are based at the Eastside Cafe in Los Angeles.

“Sembrando Amapolas: Music, Culture & Community of Son Jarocho in California”
Funding will support visits to Son Jarocho communities around California to participate in talks on the models and protocols of each space, as well as strengths and areas of growth, to re-activate and build new networks of groups across the state.
