In 2021, the Mexican Consulate in San Bernardino received a grant from ACTA’s Living Cultures Grant Program to support their Raíces y Alas (Roots and Wings) program. The program offers monthly Spanish-language Mexican arts and culture workshops, including book clubs, traditional crafts such as papel picado (cut paper) and paper flowers, and traditions surrounding Mexican holidays, such as Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
