Paul Cason
Paul Cason is an artist, community leader, and speaker of the Northwestern (Konkow) Maidu language. Paul’s dedication to the art, culture, and community of this language is unwavering. He understands that for Maidu art to be fully cherished, it must be experience through the Maidu mindset, language, and worldview. Paul has actively worked to revitalize the Konkow Maidu language for nearly two decades, and is a founding member of the Konkow Language Preservation Group.
In 2012, a consultancy supported by ACTA’s Development Program allowed Paul to work with Where Are My Keys LLC inventor Evan Gardner, to receive training in this accelerated language learning methodology.
