Clown Dance/Clowning
Gregory Browning, aka Boomer the Clown, is a Clowning cultural pioneer and master teaching artist, professional dancer, choreographer, and community leader from Los Angeles. Boomer the Clown has danced for artists/entities such as Janet Jackson, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Black Eyed Peas, and more! Boomer casted the Kendrick Lamar “Not Like Us” music video as well as the Chris Brown “Run It” and Charm La Donna ( Westside) Boomer has worked alongside AmariMonster, Yoe Apolinario Sheopatra, Tight Eyez, and Tommy the Clown. Boomer teaches at professional studios in Los Angeles such as Movement Lifestyle and Evolution Studios, and he teaches community youth classes in Los Angeles. Boomer also offers online classes to his international students around the globe. Boomer performs with his students and crew at birthday parties, community events, and battles. Boomer founded BOOMSQUAD in 2014, a Clown dance crew that battles, performs, and teaches community classes.

I Believe in myself
Through this grant, Boomer the Clown, will be able to provide Los Angeles youth with Clowning after-school programs, community workshops, and cultural events. As a master teaching artist and pioneer of Clowning, a dance culture prominent in LA since 1992, Boomer the Clown will offer 500+ students mentorship, preserving culture.
