Govind Raghavan
South Indian Carnatic violin
In June 2007, with support from ACTA’s Traditional Arts Development Program, master musician Narasimhan Ravikiran offered master classes in South Indian Carnatic violin to Govind Raghavan. The intensive 10-day mentorship focused on repertoire development, interpretation skills, and presentation techniques. At the end of the mentorship, Govind presented a public concert incorporating the newly learned techniques.
