Ensohza
Japanese minzoku-geino
Ensohza is a minzoku-geino, or Japanese folk peforming ensemble, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ensohza was formed in late 2006 and continues to perform at various local community functions.
In 2008, a contract from ACTA’s Traditional Arts Development Program allowed master artist Michelle Fujii to provide Enshoza with four days of intensive dance and drum training in for a unique and community-based festival piece entitled Sanbonyanagi Sansa Odori.
